The most precious little girl Carmen, stopped by for her newborn session. She reminds me so much of my little daughter Nina when she was a newborn. They both have the same dark hair, round cheeks and flawless skin.
I was putting my camera down to add a little headband on Carmen when she started making these sweet smiley faces.
There's something really sweet about this image that you can't even see. Her daddy picked out her headband for her.
This quilted backdrop is made from upcycled Holly Hobbie curtains from
her Mommy's childhood bedroom. Her Grandma just finished the blanket the
night before the session. How cool is that?!?
Her Mommy loves browns, yellows, whites, country. Holly Hobby... and so does this
photographer! I have been wanting to use my new cotton vine I fell in
love with at The Turquoise Door . I saw it and simply had to have it for babies.

What a pretty baby girl little Madison is. She was so alert at times for the session and it's almost like she could see me photographing her while I was photographing the family (she was looking right at me...tracing me with her eyes). But then, she took a break to drink her milkie and...BAM... she was milk drunk, out asleep. Her older sister is so calm and sweet to her baby sister... not every little three year old can hold their new baby like she did (professional baby spotter nearby of course).
I'm happy to see Madison again in a few months for her next session on the one year baby plan. Growing happens so fast when you are a baby. They get bigger every day.
Congratulations to the G family on your beautiful baby girl! She is an absolute doll. Thank you for having me as your newborn photographer. I'm BLESSED!

Autumn is expecting her little baby boy in April... a spring baby. The session was timed just as winter turns to spring and we had a little green grass, perfect weather, and just enough warm sun. It felt like springtime in Texas. I'm happy Autumn chose the grassy field as one of her locations. It was a beautiful ending to her session.
