Paisley at ten days old.
When Paisley's mother contacted me, Paisley was a week old. I was able to fit sweet baby girl Paisley in the schedule because we in Houston had some rainy weather... and I had to reschedule all of my outdoor sessions for the day. Most of the time I'm unhappy with the rain... but this time, the rain introduced me to Paisley and her Mother. The rain was a blessing.
Keshia (Paisley's Mommy) told me she likes vintage, shabby chic, bohemian, gypsy themes... the nursery is decorated in this style. This is pretty much... well exactly my style too! So, we think alike.
I've had these handmade vintage doilies for a couple of years now... waiting to use them for this idea I had with a newborn baby... and waiting for the right mom that loves them as much as I do. I found the mom and the perfect newborn finally! I love me some shabby chic vintage doilies (and so does Paisley's Mommy).
Mamma whispered in baby's ear and she SMILED!

Paisley fits so snuggly in the 5 gallon metal bucket.
Congratulations to Paisley's family on having such a content, beautiful, baby girl. Thank you for having me as your newborn photographer, I'm BLESSED!
