On and off rain has been something Houston has been dealing with for weeks now.   It seems to only rain when a family photography session is scheduled.  This was our second attempt at this session because the first one was a rain day.  It all worked out this time.  Cole is one of the BabyBee Collective babies.  This is his second session over his first year.  A reminder of Cole from the newborn session is at the bottom of the post.

I told Lauren that Pinterest is going to love this session.  She did an amazing job at pulling all the clothing together for the session with the red, blue, and plaid layers.  It makes it feel like winter even though it was in the mid 70's for the session.  Very nice weather.

I mean, really?  Yall are so cute...

Every once and a while I like to make a safety announcement. A baby's safety is worth so much more than any picture. Daddy was the spotter in case Cole would lose his balance (that's Daddy's head on the left) and Mommy was the car holder. Later I did some editing to remove the safety assistants

It all started out good and then there was...the happy pumpkin meltdown.  It's all fun and games till someone puts on a pumpkin costume, Cole's first Halloween.

Lynlee at 16 days old. Newborn baby photography by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball Texas

Lynlee is here!  Before a baby arrives, there is such wonder of how they will look and what they will be like.  Will she have hair?  Will she have blue eyes?  Will she look like her Mom or Dad?  I think Lynlee is the mix of her Mommy and daddy.  Her Mommy's dark shiny hair and cute cheeky dimples.  Her Daddy's eyes and profile.  As I was photographing her, I would see them both in her.

Here is a reminder of how Lynlee looked as a little bun in the over.

Daughter of the King.
1 Samuel 1:27
27 I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.

Lynlee's mother told me that when she and Tim were ring shopping for the wedding rings, she imagined to herself..."How would these rings look on a newborn baby's feet in the newborn pictures?".   I think they made the right selection of rings... they look beautifully framed by little feet.

This is Mickelle's wedding dress.  How sentimental to incorporate the wedding gown in the newborn session.  Like completing a circle.

Lynlee's room is nautical theme with anchors and pretty little things.  In this little set we used the anchor from her nursery, the ocean theme bucket of my collection and a little anchor tieback head piece.

Congratulations to Tim and Mickelle!  So blessed to photograph your precious baby!
