Welcome to the world little Blake. His parents found me through the referral of a friend. Referrals make the best clients because they already seem like friends. Blake is the first baby to his Mommy and Daddy. He is a little Baby Bee... the One year in photography plan, so I'll be photographing him every few months of his first year. I love seeing how they grow up.
The colors in his nursery are whites, grays, navy, and a little brown so we incorporated all these colors in his session to complement his room and house.
Something I absolutely love about newborns is their peeling feet. It won't be like this for long.
We all need a little helping hand (nerdy joke, I know).
This
is the most unusual /coolest /unique props I have ever photographed.
It is a vintage hand chair brought in by Blake's Mommy for his newborn
session. In a year... at his cake smash session you will be seeing it
again. This chair was purchased when she was in college, followed her to her first apartment, followed her to the new house after her wedding. Kinda a special chair.

Meet baby boy Nolan. The first baby in the family and at the newborn session he was 8 days old. We styled the session around neutral colors in browns and creams, along with rustic hunting props.
Nolan's Daddy hunts and he found this moose shedding out in the country. It was displayed at their wedding a year ago and now we are using it in their baby's newborn session. I bet they never even imagined that last year before baby...
