Kat and Kyle's Maternity Session Bohemian Styled Session by Debby Ditta Photography of Champions , Tomball Texas

This session was so magical for high school sweethearts Kat and Kyle.  Baby girl was not due for another 4 weeks, but ended up arriving  just days after the session.  Good thing we planned the session for this specific day or maternity session would not have happened!  We had a great morning just before the Texas heat started to kick in.  We found this top secret location :) with mossy trees and tall grass and I think it's a little piece of heaven right here. 

 I personally think she looks like a young Mariah Carey and he looks like Adam Levine.  Does that make me a celebrity photographer?  Hmmm, no?

Since baby girl was born BEFORE I was able to post this blog announcement, here is an image of Reese at her newborn session.  This image is using the same afghan crochet as used in the maternity session.  That little 4 pound girl was in her Mommy's tummy only a week before.

Each new life is a miracle having to overcome so many obstacles simply to be born.   When I meet a true miracle baby and photograph them... I think about what a blessing they are.  A true gift from The Lord.  Pregnancy is something that is so often taken for granted but it really is such a miracle.

Kenley is such a miracle and worth the long wait.

 

 

 There is something so sentimental and sweet about seeing a new Daddy holding his new baby girl.  They have a future of dancing together, hair brushing, playing dolls and tea parties... and he's gonna love it!  My husband loves dancing with our preschool age daughter.

 

Kenley has been the most smiley newborn I can remember ever photographing.  It was smile after smiles and I was enjoying every minute of it.  It was like catching a butterfly in my hands or seeing a shooting star in the sky. 

Her nursery is decorated in deer prints and bohemian colors.  She is a little forest fawn.

The W family in The Blessed Field

The mother in this session is a Photographer friend of mine.  We went to "The Blessed Field" in Tomball, TX close by for her family session as a Mother's Day / Father's Day gift to themselves.  I'm so happy we did this!  She will soon be taking pictures of my family.
