Mommy and Me.... A Motherhood Session of Lindsey and her babies by Tomball, TX Photographer Debby Ditta Photography

During the last few weeks of summer, I got together with a long time client for a Mommy and Me session.  As a Mommy myself, I know summertime is way too fast.  I was thinking to myself that during the session, she's holding her babies now and she'll soon be packing lunches and sending the kids off to school.  

I photographed little sister Avery as a newborn baby and she's a Baby Bee graduate (the one year plan). I've included an image from her newborn session below for reference.  

We got sooooo lucky to have this roll of hay out in the field.  I've never seen one here in all the years I've visited it.  

I recommend to their Mommy, to print this one huge... to honor that day in the grassy field where these two kids got along...

Maternity Gown Collection

Something I want expressed through the images of the Maternity Session is the confidence and beauty of the Mother.  Such a miraculous event in one's lifetime deserves the celebration that only a Maternity Session can give.  A benefit I offer to my clients is the option to wear one of these romantic styled maternity gowns.    Available for clients to wear during the maternity session is a collection of comfortable, classic - yet stylish, designer gowns.  Once the session is reserved, clients are welcome to set up an appointment to try on gowns before the session day.  Gowns are available in a variety of sizes to fit a petite woman to a plus size woman.  There are more available in the studio, as I am adding to the collection over time.

Clients provide their own undergarments for each specific dress.  Recommended is a nude-skin colored strapless bra, or sticker pasties for coverage.  Also a pair of nude-skin colored panty or hipster style shorties.  Some of the gowns have a open slit down the middle front to allow the tummy to show.  It is optional to open during the session or leave closed for modesty.  

Above is the "Sansa" velvet gown in Olive Green.  The vendor suggest for sizes 4-12 pre-pregnancy size.  It is semi-stretchy and good for sessions in the colder months.  

Above is a combination of a blush pink tulle skirt and  a fitted gown in white underneath.  Recommended for most sizes 4-14 pre-pregnancy sizes.

The two images above images is the Monroe gown in sand color.  It is dreamy romantic with the extra long train.  It is also available in a light turquoise blue color (not photographed yet)

The peacock boho gown above is also available in khaki brown.  

Above is the most popular gown I call the "Mocha Gown".  It is a gown with softness and stretch (will fit a small size up to a plus size) in a taupe color.  My favorite feature of the gown is how the bottom of the dress puddles on the floor.  

Above is the "Boho Lace Dress" in a size Small-Medium.  Boots complement the bohemian style of this cute little dress.  I personally love the pom pom trimmed sleeves.  

The "Cotton Candy Pink" Gown is for all the petite expectant Mothers.  Since it is a longer gown, there is no need to be concerned with what shoes to wear (I think this Mother had on flip flops?).  It is perfect for a spring or summer baby.

Above is the "Marilyn Gown"  because it makes me think of Miss Monroe herself.  This is such a romantic gown and will fit a petite woman up to a size large.  Depending on your height, shoes may/may not show.  It would look cute with strappy sandals or western boots. The bust area is semi-adjustable, but as for undergarments, you'll need to shop for sticker pasties for this gown.  

Above is the "Golden Yellow Gown".  It is Semi-stretchy in the bust to accommodate the petite up to a size Medium-Large. The top is a stretchy knit material and the bottom is a sheer chiffon that is semi-transparent.  You'll need some nude-skin colored shorties for this gown because it is sheer.

Above is my favorite (and most requested gown) again.  The Mocha Gown.

The dove white gown above is available in the small/petite size.

The ruffled top gown is available in goldenrod and the berry wine color.  The size is flexible from Small to Large.

The floral gown is available for Small/Medium

The peacock blue dress above is the "Stella".  It is sheer from the belly down to the floor, so skin colored undergarments are recommended.

All the Details... Please read before booking.

Recommended Clothing selection for soft and timeless portraits: Please choose from a neutral color palate.  Colors in the gray, taupe, cream, white, sand, and chocolate are best with the cream studio wall.  Solids look best with no bold prints or clothing with logos.  Please arrive dressed and ready to be photographed.  Recommended optional available stylist service:  Please contact Professional Stylist Jackie White for clothing styling of your session 281-630-1800.

One week after the session the Online Gallery will showcase 20 images from the session and client chooses the 5 images they would want to download as high resolution files..  A complementary BW copy will also be available from the exact 5 chosen images.  These files will include a print release for you to have permission to print in the lab of your choice.

No alterations to the session.  Mommy and Me sessions are only photographed with Mother and child(ren) in studio and on the dates and times listed in the special.  Please book a regular session for another time if you need special modifications in any way.  The investment for the Mommy and Me session will not be honored at another time.  This is a two day only event and cost.

All sessions must be pre-paid to reserve your 15 minute time session.  I cannot hold a time for client unless they have the deposit set.  Sessions are every hour and half hour on Friday April 24^th and Saturday April 25^th,. Reservations will be paid via Paypal invoice provided by the photographer.  Session cost are non-refundable. 

Please arrive early to the session dressed and ready to be photographed.  I want to provide the best service and time available to my clients.  Sessions are scheduled back to back and there is no time for late arrivals.  Late arrivals will either make session a shortened time or cancelled with no refund. 

Images from your session will receive and over-all edited softening and color enhancement.  No other or major retouching will be given. If you need extra special retouching, I will refer you to professional outsourcing services at clients’ expense.

If you are unable to make the session, it is still non-refundable.  I consider your time-reservation a loss and photographer has the right to keep the payment because of cancellation, no-show, or late to session.

Additional digital files may be purchased at $50.00 plus tax each, or the complete set of 20 images at $225.00 plus tax.

Laura's belly - Maternity Session

If brunette Barbie was expecting a baby... she would look like this beautiful Mommy to be.  It was about 93 degrees in Texas heat for this session and Mommy has about a month before baby arrives.  I remember how hot it is when you're pregnant in August!  It was cute and fun to photograph her favorite craves.
