Christmas Tree Farm Sessions 2021 Spring, TX Debby Ditta Photography

Christmas Petite Tree Farm Sessions are booking now <3  

🌲When:  Fridays in October (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th)

🌲Times: 4:00, 4:30, 5:00, 5:30, 6:00, and 6:30pm

🌲Where:  Old Time Christmas Tree Farm in Spring, TX

🌲Cost: $350.00 plus tax at booking

🌲Includes: 20 minute session for an individual person or up to 6 immediate family members, 5 high resolution digital images  (of your choice) with the option to purchase more digital images, prints, and canvas.  Print release included 

🌲 How to book:  After you have reviewed the information on pricing (in the comments of this post regarding the optional Digital Packages and Prints/Products).  Please text Debby Ditta at 281-723-6491 with your first choice of date and time.  I will prepare the necessary reservation emails for you to have completed within 24 hours. Please send me a text message with your current email address and I will send the emails to you in the order I receive. 

Important details: Sessions are 20 minutes in length and may include an individual up to and limited to an immediate family of 6.  Full payment due upon reservation. No refunds.  No refunds or substitutions for no-shows or cancellations. 

Investment of $350 plus Texas Sales Tax, includes entrance to the Tree Farm AND Pumpkin Patch,  20 minute session, and 5 high resolution images of your choice. Images are chosen by YOU from your own personal online viewing gallery of 20 images from the session. The option to purchase more Digital Packaging, Professional Prints, Canvas, and Products is available. MORE DETAILS  (because I'm a details kind of gal):

Because of limited days allowed for photography at the Farm, if we experience rain/inclement weather, illness, or photographer emergency on session date, we do not have the option to reschedule the Tree Farm location.  All weather related (or illness related) rescheduled appointments would be photographed at an alternative date and  location suggested by the photographer.  Please notify photographer upon the first sign of illness so we can work out an alternative for your family.

Please review the current investment for additional purchases such as Digital Packages, Canvas, and Print before booking your appointment.

Full Payment and Contract must be completed within 24 hours of booking to reserve your date and time.  If not completed within 24 hours, the appointment will be given to another client.

If none of the dates for Tree Farm Petite sessions work for your family, we can always photograph a Classic Family Session for you at several Tomball area locations and dates/times.  Please message/email/text/call to discuss Classic sessions <3

Studio Newborn Session featuring Baby Boy Sabastian by Tomball TX Photographer Debby Ditta Photography

December baby, Sabastian visited the studio for his newborn session. He was due in November, but his late arrival made him a December baby. At his session he was a big boy at 9 pounds. His parents said he was up all night the day before, which was a good thing for me because he slept so well during his session time.

The first 30 to 45 minutes of the newborn session is the parent and family pictures. Our goal is to have baby asleep so they are still and cooperative. In general, if baby is awake, they can be flailing their arms, reminded they are hungry, fussy, wiggling, going google eyed, etc. I send out a newborn prep guide to the parents before the session to give guidance on what to do before they arrive to the studio. It's filled with helpful information on what to expect during their time here, what to wear, and tips on how to maximize the sleep potential for baby.

Below are some of my favorite poses for parents and their baby.

I try to photograph every baby on a solid white backdrop for part of their beanbag images. It's simple, classic and timeless. This is also my favorite time to photograph macro images (close-up images of baby's details).

Did you know that I have a newborn prop clothing collection in my studio? Clients don't have to bring a thing, I've got it covered! I've gathered some of my favorite newborn clothing from vendors all over the world. This little sweater suit is from Australia. I have sizes that will fit a tiny 4 pound newborn on up to a "fluffy" 12 pound newborn baby

Harriet Newborn Baby Girl Session by Professional Newborn and Maternity Photographer Debby Ditta of Tomball, TX

After a long string of baby boys, a little girl came and visited the studio for her newborn session. Harriet is a living doll. She was a big girl in the 9 pound range and so soft ans squishy. She made my job easier by being such a content and sleepy baby. She was born right in the middle of the Fall/Winter season so I worked some pumpkins and Christmas garland into her images. This is my most favorite time of the year for newborns. I love the Christmas season!

My newborn sessions include parent photography (and older siblings) in the session. I usually photograph this part of the session in the beginning so that parents can relax (and change into comfy clothes) for the rest of the newborn session. Sometimes Daddy will head to work after the parent images and Mommy stays for the remainder of the session. Parent images usually take about 20-30 minutes, or if baby is awake/fussy (or if we photograph older siblings too), it can take longer. I help parents get into their poses and tell them when to look at me, when to smile, when to hug, etc. I try to keep the parent poses as stress free and natural as possible. I know it's not a comfortable thing to have a camera in your face, but I promise I can make it feel not so weird.

That little bear in the image below was handmade by her 7 year old cousin as a gift. What a sweet gift for little Harriet and such talent by her cousin.

Every newborn session with me will include close up (macro) images. That sweet profile, button nose, chubby cheeks, furry ear, baby chick hair, and pouty lips will all change so quickly. They will only be a memory very soon and looking back on these images will be a forever reminder of how newborn baby Harriet looked after she was just born.

Baby Oliver at 14 days old Newborn Session by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball, TX

So... busy season of Fall Family Photography is almost finished... deadlines for Christmas cards, prints, Digital Packages, Gift Cards... it has been such a BLESSED season (and year) for my growing business. I've been editing all the family sessions, there hasn't been time to keep up with the blog. Sorry, blog... I still love you <3 Now, I can take a deep breath and focus on things to come in the new year, new additions to products and special things I'll be offering my beloved clients. It's almost like being excited for Christmas to arrive! I'll be announcing some surprises soon (no, I'm not pregnant, lol).

Meet little baby Oliver. We photographed his newborn session between Thanksgiving and Christmas and so that means CHRISTMAS PROPS!!! Yes, I'm excited! My favorite time of the year to photograph newborns is November and December (I have November and December babies of my own). I get out all the frosted pine cones, winter greenery, holly, berry wreaths, plaid... there's too much to list. I aim to make every newborn session unique and stay mostly classic and timeless with the session, but season the session with a little Christmas.

I have a teenager now and no matter how hard I try to imagine...I cannot remember his squishy cheeks. I do however, have his squish cheeks in photographs

Which image do you prefer? Oliver is in the same bowl set-up but two different lighting scenarios. In the top image, light source is bottom right corner of image and bottom image, light is top left corner (more moody shadows).

Oliver's Daddy loves photography and so we turned Oliver into a baby landscape photographer

Oliver has such amazing hair, it's almost 2 inches long already! I almost didn't want to cover it up with a hat, but he looks oh so cute as a friendly bear.

Oliver is one of the most relaxed and sleepy babies of 2017 for sure. He was so calm for his session and loved every pose I put him in

He thought it was baby-spa-day, he was so relaxed.

Oliver knew how to work the camera and ROCKED his parent pose! That's the sweetest baby face ever!

Newborn fur and rolls are two of my favorite things...
