Everly is a smiley girl and flashed me several of those sweet grins during her session.  She has two big brothers that are just as sweet as her and were so gentle with her.  Before the session, we planned the colors we would use for baby's wraps / headbands / props, etc.  We are using all neutral colors with some plums, dusty green, and a little pink.  Everly looked so pretty in every color we put her in.  And... look at that hair!  She is a doll baby.

Here is how the family looked a couple months ago when Stephanie was expecting and we were at the maternity session.  The boys were so excited to soon meet their baby sister.

In my studio... at some time during every newborn session, baby is photographed on white ❤  It is simple, classic,  and timeless... no matter the current trends in photography... simplicity will never go out of style.  The tiny details that make baby unique will quickly change and their features will be so different in just a few months.  I'm using a macro lens that allows me to focus when I am very close to the baby.  I can capture even the tiniest details.  All pictures can be ordered in black and white or color option.

Everly's nursery is in the colors of plum, dusty olive green, and white.  Before the session, her mother texted me a few images from her room and I came up with this little set for her with all the colors in the baby room.  

Mommy's hand ❤  I had Mom (Stephanie) sit next to Everly for baby safety during this pose and think her hand is so beautiful in this shot.  It also shows proportion on just how little Everly is as a newborn.  Below is the edited version, but I'm including the original in the gallery with it ❤

Layla was born a little early and photographed on her actual due date.  What a perfect date for her newborn session.  Before the session, I preselected the props, backdrops, and newborn prop clothing based on the style of her parents.  Before Layla was born, her Mother and I consulted by phone about the colors she liked, her style of the baby's future room and the style/colors of their home decor.

She also mentioned that she'd like to use the American Flag somehow (being a June baby) and use the flag images for her birth announcements to be sent around the 4th of July. Shhhhhhh... it's a secret :)

I recently found this toddler chair and floral tin at Canton trade days (aka. photographer's prop treasure hunt paradise).    I've been wanting to use it for a newborn session and what a perfect little baby to photograph on the chair!  Summer succulents are a must have photo accessory for summer babies too.

She gave us the prettiest newborn smile... we all melted in the studio over this happy baby.  She must have been dreaming of chocolate, unicorns, and butterflies.

Her Daddy picked out the props for this set.  He liked the white bucket and "Braveheart" mossy crown tieback.  Mommy selected the white lace bowl stuffer.  I think it all looks so beautifully composed together.

She has the best newborn baby chick hair.

When we had Layla's session, I had no idea that it would be Flag Day during the week.  How perfect to have posed a new little life with our nation's flag.  The future of America.

Brynn's Newborn Session by Newborn Specialty Boutique Photographer Debby Ditta of Tomball / Houston Texas

Hard to imagine this little peanutty baby girl was just inside her Mother's womb only two weeks ago.  She is so pretty just like her Mamma.  At the time of her session baby Brynn was 14 days old and so quiet and sleepy.  She didn't make a peep till the end of the session because it was her lunchtime.  Babies change so much during their first month of life, that it is recommended to photograph newborn babies when they are less than a month old... preferred between days 5 to 17 days old.

For Brynn's session we designed the session to be natural, boho, organic and rustic.  Her parents love the outdoors so we incorporated some natural floral and mossy headbands, and a vintage fishing minnow bucket.  Her mother requested the lace / crochet style newborn romper (my favorite too) and it fit little Brynn like a custom fit.

 Her Mother made such a beautiful pregnant woman.  Her pregnancy is a memory now that little Brynn is here.  She will always have the memory as professional photographs to look back on.  Baby Brynn will one day look through the photographs of her Mother carrying her.   I have a package for combining the Maternity and Newborn Session bundle called the "Bump and Baby" Package.  It is a popular option for expectant Mommies.

Brynn's parents are outdoorsy and fish together.  She is tucked in so cozy inside the vintage minnow bucket pail that is a versatile prop for both boys and girls.  Girls like to fish too after all.  Something so sweet about this image is that her Daddy chose the headband Brynn is wearing in this image.
