Caleb's One year Session One year plan by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball, TX

When one of my Baby Bees (One year plan) turn one I get sentimental thinking about their first year and how much they've grown.  I feel like a proud honorary Auntie to Caleb because I met him as a little bun in the oven at his Mother's Maternity Session last spring.  He has grown into a kind, gentle, curious, and easy going little baby.  Good parenting shows :)

At the start of the session we met at a little tree lined area less than a mile from my studio.  It provides shade in the morning hours and photographs soooo well.  We had some brown eye susie flowers on this particular day.

Caleb's birthday party theme will be Lumberjacks.  His Mother and Aunt made the lumberjack banner,  RJ Goodies made the cake, and we used me "new" antique Sunday school chair that I'm in love with.

365 days in one year makes a big difference when you are a baby.  Look at how much Caleb has changed over the year.  Newborn and one year session.

Happy birthday Caleb!

Delicate little flower Lily Newborn Session by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball, TX

When parents think of naming their baby, you don't even know what they are going to look like or their personal characteristics.  Lily's parents nailed it!  Her name is perfection for her sweet and delicate nature.  Just like the fragile springtime flower is Lily the newborn baby girl.  Her daddy personally chose all the props for the session, the backdrops are selected just for her and I think that is such a sweet little addition to her session that it was all hand picked by him.

Her colors for the session are like the flower itself in whites, delicate pinks, and just a little bit of turquoise.

Congratulations to the R family on your sweet bundle of joy.  I'm BLESSED to be her photographer.
Love, Debby Ditta Photography

William Newborn baby boy by Debby Ditta Photography of Tomball, Texas

Spring is the time for new life, butterflies, green grass, and flowers.  Also, it is the time for Easter babies. Little William made such a cute little bunny too.  His mother brought the sweet little rabbit hat for him to wear for his session.   We planned neutral colors for his session in creams and browns.

I brought out one of my favorite quilts and we had a little history lesson with it.  It is a quilt made from pieces of flour sacks.  These are not just any fabric flour sacks, but cut from pieces by the Pappy O'Daniel flour company...the past Texas Governor W. Lee O'Daniel . Also known for the phrase "pass the biscuits, Pappy".   This is a special quilt to us and happy to photograph two teachers' baby on a little piece of history.
